Learn more about our benefits.**Key Responsibilities*** Leads thin film/coating development and designs process DOEs to get the coating and materials property to meet requirements.* Leads thin film/coating, and materials characterizations.* Responsible to thin film/coating defects control.* Work with variety teams to do quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action. Identifies and drives broad based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.**Functional Knowledge*** Regarded as the technical expert in the following technical areas* Materials science, Chemistry and various coatings processes, such thermal CVD.* Fabrication and manufacturing of coating coated semiconductor components* Modeling for thermal and gas flow + Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function* Material analysis and characterization as well as surface analysis of films and coatings.* Failure analysis for structural integrity of coatings related components**Leadership*** May lead projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity**Problem Solving*** Leads others to solve complex problems, using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.* Understanding and use of various problem solving methodologies, such as 8D, six sigma, etc.**Education:** Master's Degree a must (Ph.D. preferred) at Materials science, Chemistry or Physics science**Experience:** 3-5 Years**Additional Information****Time Type:**Full time**Employee Type:**Assignee / Regular**Travel:**Yes, 10% of the Time**Relocation Eligible:**YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
