Job Title: Ecommerce Donation Sorting Specialist

Location: Tice (Fort Myers, FL)

Employment Type: Part-Time

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking an Ecommerce Donation Sorting Specialist to identify, sort, and select donated items for online sales. This position works closely with store production teams to ensure Ecommerce merchandise is properly identified, documented, staged, and transferred to the Ecommerce department. The Ecommerce Donation Sorting Specialist also provides product knowledge support to production staff and assists with selecting and pricing merchandise for store display cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, sort, and process Ecommerce-appropriate merchandise from donated goods quickly and efficiently.
• Pack, label, stage, and prepare merchandise for transfer to the Ecommerce department while maintaining organized and accurate documentation.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Provide feedback and product knowledge coaching to store production staff regarding the quality and quantity of items selected for Ecommerce.
• Move hoppers and pallets to and from transportation holding areas and properly label totes, containers, hoppers, and other materials for transportation.
• Properly sort and place pulls and salvage items into designated containers.
• Assist with selecting and pricing merchandise for store display cases.
• Maintain a clean workstation and follow all Goodwill policies, department procedures, and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers while fostering a positive team environment.
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, travel to different store locations within the region as needed, and perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail and/or stock handling experience preferred.
• Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and independently stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
• Ability to recognize colors.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to occasionally work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to different stores within the region.
