Management Analyst II/ Paralegal - Washington DC

All Native Group is seeking a Management Analyst II (Paralegal) for the Office of the Legal Adviser, Dept. of State. The position requires an experienced paralegal to assist with general paralegal duties, primarily document review and production for ongoing litigation. Candidates must have a Secret security clearance. Essential Functions Assists in general paralegal duties, focusing on document review and production for ongoing litigation. Assists with the legal discovery process by collecting and reviewing data in paper and electronic formats. Tracks and manages cases in electronic data systems. Assists in drafting and distributing legal holds. Researches precedent and processes related to individual cases. Updates case management tools, such as PACER, internally and externally. Provides general support in litigation and other legal matters as assigned. Delivers good customer service. Qualifications Three (3) years’ experience performing paralegal work in the Federal Government or graduation from an accredited paralegal program or law school. Minimum one (1) year of experience reviewing documents within ongoing litigation. Minimum one (1) year of experience using commercially available forensic document review platforms. Direct knowledge of the litigation process, rules of Civil Procedure, and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). US citizenship with an active Secret clearance. Supervisory Responsibility None required for this position. Work Environment The role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands The position requires staying in a stationary position 75% of the time, occasional movement to access file cabinets and office machinery, constant computer operation, verbal communication, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working indoors 90% of the time. Position Type / Hours Full‑time. Typical days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; evening and weekend hours may be required as business needs arise. Travel No travel is required. Experience & Education Graduation from an accredited paralegal program or law school is preferred. If a candidate does not have a degree or certificate, a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a paralegal is required, with at least one year of that experience at the Department of State preferred. Additional Eligibility Preference for candidates who already have a minimum of one year’s experience working at the Department of State. Compensation & Benefits The expected compensation range is $85,000.00–95,000.00 per year. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package.
