Job Title: Logistics Specialist II Location: Duke Field AFS, FL Duration: Contract Pay Rate: $25.50 per hour Role Summary Our Aerospace client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist II to support the coordination, documentation, and execution of logistics operations for critical materials, equipment, and systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate tracking, storage, and shipment of spares, tools, test equipment, and associated documentation within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in inventory and supply chain processes, thrives in a hands‑on environment, and is comfortable working within compliance‑driven logistics operations, including domestic and international shipping requirements. This position is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and regulatory adherence across logistics activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and execute domestic and international shipping activities in compliance with state, federal, and global import/export regulations Route, document, and track shipments of materials, equipment, and components Utilize shipping systems (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS) to manage logistics workflows Prepare and maintain logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and technical manuals Track inventory, repair parts, and associated documentation to ensure accuracy and proper allocation within storage facilities Maintain records within inventory databases and ensure data integrity Support storage, handling, and movement of materials, including hazardous or regulated items when applicable Assist with inventory control processes, including shelf‑life tracking and material audits Ensure all logistics activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements Support the handling, inspection, and transport of hazardous materials as required Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure work environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Foundational understanding of inventory and supply chain/logistics principles Experience working with inventory databases or tracking systems Preferred Qualifications Experience with aviation or maintenance tracking systems (e.g., AvPro or similar) HazMat training or certification Forklift operation experience Experience with shipping platforms (FedEx, DHL, UPS) Understanding of shelf‑life management for materials Background in aerospace and defense, DoD, or military environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Links Technology Solutions, Inc.
