In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled full spectrum electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. BAE Systems is seeking an experienced and energetic Program Engineering Manager (PEM) to contribute to our established and rapidly expanding engineering team in the CEMA Business Area. We are looking for a PEM who can coordinate and manage the engineering activities and is interested in a leadership role in a growing Product Line. Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Serve as engineering focal point for all activity within the projects including strategic planning, bid and proposal support for engineering content, engineering strategy and integrated plans on programs, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management
- Project execution leadership to technical team; plan, execute, and manage all engineering efforts within the project. This includes tailoring company processes and procedures to execute research programs
- Partner and collaborate with program managers, functional engineering managers, subcontractors, and customers, and factories to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved
- Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
- Effectively communicate with clear, concise messaging to teams and leadership
- Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SAP accesses
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline, and at least ten years of experience in engineering development of complex electronic systems and the transition to manufacturing
- Experience leading diverse multi-disciplinary teams in the solution of complex technical problems
- Project engineering management including organizational design, planning, estimating, design management, and product verification
- Experience introducing automation into development and test to increase quality and lower costs
- Experience using Design to Cost (DTC) methods; leading to technical solutions that meet affordability and producibility requirements
- Direct experience supporting Department of War programs
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and cost account management (CAM) experience
