Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. As a vital part of the Quality Department, you will support the production process by ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in metal-spun products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligning seamlessly with the company's mission to deliver excellence.

Location: Dayton, OH

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Perform in-process and final inspections of metal-spun parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product compliance with quality standards.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming products.
• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality control, preferably in metal fabrication or spinning.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
