Cardiac Catheterization Technologist | Athens, Georgia

Step into a vital role supporting advanced cardiovascular care as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist. This contract position calls for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in imaging, specialized in Cath Lab procedures. You'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe and accurate operation of complex imaging equipment to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment for catheterization procedures
• Support cardiologists and nursing staff with case preparation and during procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide real-time imaging feedback as directed
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient records and procedure details
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of Cath Lab supplies
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

• ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certification required
• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a hospital setting
• In-depth understanding of radiographic and cardiovascular imaging equipment
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or the ability to obtain before start date)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
