It's time to pursue what matters to you.Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Job ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Sanitation (Custodial / Janitorial Work)Perform industrial cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, facility areas, and/or shipping and receiving areasOperate power washers, pressure washers, and cleaning equipmentApply cleaning chemicals and sanitizers following safety guidelinesWash delivery trailers (similar to warehouse or fleet cleaning work)Must be able to stand/walk, push/pull for 8 hours (or duration of the shift)Must be able to lift 50 lbs comfortablyMay be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment that covers the head and/or faceFood Safety & ComplianceFollow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation proceduresWear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all timesWork within a standards-based environment with routine inspections and auditsFollow detailed cleaning checklists and processesDaily Work ExpectationsPerform repetitive cleaning tasks with consistency and attention to detailMaintain a clean and safe work environmentLearn and apply safety procedures, chemical handling, and sanitation standardsQualificationsPrevious custodial experience preferred. Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals. Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers. Adaptable to guests' needs. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
