Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a CNC Machinist t o join our client, a respected metal fabrication company located in Three Rivers, MI. This is a great opportunity for a dependable and skilled individual looking to grow within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Job Overview
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $18.00
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and dimensional drawings to perform assigned tasks accurately.
- Operate a wide range of machines including mills, lathes, drills, automatics, and surface grinders.
- Use micrometers, calipers, hand tools, and precision instruments to inspect and verify product quality.
- Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, and set up/operate machine tools.
- Fit and assemble parts to build and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools.
- Prepare tooling for changeovers and conduct in-press inspections after production runs.
- Design jigs, fixtures, and templates to support part and product fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure machines are cleaned before and after each shift.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in machining or tool & die work.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- High attention to detail when working with precision equipment.
- Solid math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- CAD/CAM experience is a plus!
