Overview Job Title: Accounting Supervisor Client Advisory Services (CAS) Public Accounting Full-Time About the Role As an Accounting Supervisor (CAS) , you'll guide firms and leaders through their financial journey providing high-value advisory services beyond compliance: thinking strategically, improving performance, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology. Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Lead CAS engagements : Oversee consulting projects across areas such as financial reporting, workflow efficiency, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, or financial systems implementation. Manage client relationships : Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, shaping service offerings, and ensuring delivery excellence. Coach and develop staff : Mentor junior CAS team members, review deliverables, and supervise multitask workloads. Drive business development : Contribute to proposals, refine service packages, and support client growth initiatives. Maintain technical excellence : Stay updated on evolving accounting standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies affecting advisory services. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters preferred). CPA designation required. CAS specialization (e.g., CGMA certification, experience with advisory frameworks) a plus. Minimum of 4 years in public accounting, with significant exposure to CAS or similar roles. Proven expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, process improvement, or systems advisory. Strong communication and client-facing soft skills. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, data analytics platforms, and accounting/advisory software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Sage Intacct, Power BI).
