Compensation: $18–$20 per hour DOE

Step into a day where the facility depends on your coordination to keep equipment running and the operation safe. As the Facilities Reliability and Repair Coordinator, you orchestrate maintenance requests, line up repairs, and ensure the right parts are on hand—so production stays on schedule and the building performs at its best.

A day in the life

You start by reviewing overnight maintenance requests and prioritizing work orders. You connect with team members to capture new needs and schedule technicians or contractors as required. Mid-morning might find you ordering electrical or plumbing components, updating maintenance reports, and confirming preventive maintenance appointments for compressors, the generator, and fire alarm systems. In the afternoon, you might coordinate material handling equipment repairs, check the Maintenance Crib Inventory, and close out completed tickets—always with safety at the forefront.

What you will do

• Champion a safe workplace by consistently following safety procedures and policies.
• Receive, prioritize, and coordinate facility maintenance and repair work orders for plant equipment.
• Keep building and equipment functionality on track through timely action and follow-through.
• Source and order maintenance parts and supplies (electrical, plumbing, and more) for the Maintenance team.
• Prepare and maintain facility maintenance documentation and reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees reporting maintenance needs.
• Coordinate repairs for all facility material handling equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations.

Local focus — St. Petersburg, FL

• Schedule inspections and preventive maintenance for facility systems, including compressors, generator, and fire alarms.
• Maintain and reconcile the Maintenance Crib Inventory.

What you bring

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills that set you up for success

• Hands-on construction abilities: carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Administrative precision for purchasing, record handling, and scheduling outside contractors when needed.
• Physical capability to lift, move, and handle equipment safely.
• Endurance for extended periods of standing and walking.
• Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating work and documenting issues.
• Comfort working in very hot or very cold conditions.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Proficiency

Facilities maintenance experience.
