About This Opportunity:

The Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Shermco's vendor management and procurement processes. This position is responsible for coordinating purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support vendor onboarding, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and alignment with Shermco's procurement policies.
• Track purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders.
• Partner with internal teams (HR, Operations, Finance) to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor data for audit readiness and compliance.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance, addressing issues, and supporting vendor evaluation.
• Contribute to cost savings and efficiency improvement initiatives, supporting Shermco's operational and financial goals.
• Serve as a point of contact for supplier inquiries regarding order status, invoicing, and payments.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• 2+ years of procurement, supply chain, or administrative coordination experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/Procurement systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
