Clinical Supervisor- Home Care

Overview Sentara Home Care and Hospice Services in Newport News, VA, is hiring a Clinical Supervisor. The position is full‑time, day shift, with a salary range of $69,742 – $116,251. The Clinical Supervisor coordinates patient care resources, leads a multidisciplinary team, supports clinical staff and physicians, and makes administrative decisions in collaboration with leadership. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and allocate patient care resources to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Supervise and support a multidisciplinary clinical team to deliver high‑quality care. Serve as a clinical and administrative resource for staff, physicians, and patients. Make administrative decisions in collaboration with leadership regarding complex or sensitive situations. Assist in the development and implementation of clinical programs, policies, and procedures. Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Implement and support talent retention strategies within the team. Promote and ensure excellent customer service delivery across all touchpoints. Education & Certification Associate Level Nursing Degree. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) RQI required within 90 days of hire. Registered Nurse (RN) license – Multi‑State or Single‑State (North Carolina or Virginia) required. Experience 2 years of home health or infusion experience. 1 year of supervisory experience.
