Assurance Manager [Financial Services]

We are seeking a Assurance Manager to join our Financial Services team in Dallas. As an Engagement Manager, you will lead client engagements from planning to completion, manage project budgets and schedules, cultivate client relationships, and oversee billing and collections. Responsibilities Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections. Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrate budgets and schedules, monitor project status against the work plan, and communicate schedule adjustments to management. Develop a professional relationship with the client; earn the client’s respect and confidence through superior customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity. Serve as the prime point‑of‑contact to the client, ensuring the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics. Gain the respect and confidence of the internal team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise team direction. Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered. Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of work experience in a public‑accounting firm. Bachelor’s Degree and an active CPA license required. Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX.
