Material Handler / Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for safely moving, storing, and loading industrial lubricants, oils, greases, and related raw materials. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to maintain stock inventory, stage products for production or shipping, and support clean, safe warehouse operations. 

salary: $35,360 - $35,361 per year

Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks to transport pallets, drums, totes, and containers of lubricants throughout the warehouse.

• Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Unload incoming raw materials and load outbound freight (LTL/TL) following shipping orders and manifests.

• Inventory Control: Stage materials for production, conduct accurate physical cycle counts, and report discrepancies to inventory management.

• Storage & Handling: Safely store liquid lubricants, chemicals, and industrial containers in designated rack and bay locations following safety compliance standards.

• Equipment & Safety Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections on material handling equipment and maintain proper house-keeping (5S standard) in designated work areas.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
