Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:- Must be able to administer ultrasound enhancement agents UEA Definity & Optison.- Agitated saline bubble studies.- Must be able to complete 7 scans per day.- Must meet expectations for pace and volume.

Preferred Skills/Experience:- IV Certification.- 2-3 years experience preferred.- Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials:- Graduate of an ultrasonography program required.- ARDMS RDCS AE

Preferred Credentials:- Completion of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasonography training program preferred.- Bachelor's degree in ultrasonography, radiology, biological sciences, or a relevant health sciences field preferred.

Unit Details:- TAVR echocardiogram; VAD echocardiogram R/L; ECMO echocardiogram; hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; strain 3D 4D echocardiogram; Mitral Clip follow-up echo; pericardial disease/pericardiocentesis; transplant patients including heart, lung, liver, and renal.- Adult and geriatric patient population.- Mixed inpatient and outpatient setting.- Care across the continuum in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, cath lab, and emergency department settings.

Shift & Scheduling:- Monday - Friday and rotational Saturday and Sunday shifts.- Variable start times: 700,730, 800,830,900 AM.- Possible call coverage, if needed.

Floating Requirements:- Float between main UWH Highland Avenue and could rotate to 2 clinics Arbor Gate & East Madison Clinic.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
