Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery Supervisor for a travel nursing job in Northwest Washington, District of Columbia.

We are seeking candidates for an L&D Clinical Supervisor position (3x12-hour rotating day/night shifts, call required) . Please submit only candidates who meet the requirement of prior supervisory experience.

Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius .

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the applicable state/district
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
• Prior supervisory experience (required)
• BLS and ACLS certification (required)
• NRP certification (required)
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification (required)
• Cerner EMR experience (required)

Role Overview:

This position provides shift-to-shift oversight of clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service quality, and resource utilization for daily operations. The supervisor ensures maintenance of a safe and effective care environment and delivers competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care appropriate to the patient population.

The role also includes modeling organizational values, participating in departmental process improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes, and supporting employee engagement activities, including professional development and shared governance participation.
