Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Proficiency with EPIC - IV Start - Telemetry - Ventilator management experience Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. Units include Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology/Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Candidates must have experience in IV management, telemetry, and ventilator management. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred. The position involves care for adult patients requiring critical care. The daily patient census is high, necessitating a strong skill set in critical care nursing. Nurses will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care. Floating among units is required based on staffing needs. All candidates must adhere to compliance deadlines and credentialing processes. References from professional relationships are necessary.
