As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a community-focused care location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM Thur 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM Fri 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sat 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sun 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and program participants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of program areas, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access control issues. Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
