We are recruiting for a Medical Scheduler in Albuquerque, New Mexico to join a busy healthcare team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients and has strong customer service, scheduling, and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling needs
• Confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed
• Update patient demographic and appointment information
• Accurately document patient communications
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service
• Coordinate with healthcare team members regarding scheduling needs
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Assist with additional medical office responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous medical scheduling, healthcare customer service, medical front desk, or call center experience preferred
• Strong telephone and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and organization
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and scheduling requests
• Comfortable learning healthcare scheduling and electronic systems
• Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
