Job Description
The Catering Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning and executing various types of events, including corporate events, social gatherings, weddings, conferences, and trade shows. This position manages events of all sizes—from small to large—ensuring seamless coordination from initial planning to on-site execution. Occasional local travel is expected to oversee event logistics and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize corporate, social, wedding, conference, and trade show events
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and setup
- Manage event schedules and timelines for smooth execution
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout event planning
- Oversee event logistics including setup, breakdown, and on-site management
- Collaborate with internal teams to align event goals and execution
- Travel locally as needed to support event management
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in event coordination
- Proficiency with event planning software
- Experience with budget management and cost control
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service oriented with a collaborative team approach
- Attention to detail in all aspects of event planning and execution
