Our Client is seeking a Dentist to join our team to provide dental care for our patients with the Department of Social and Health Service. Working in an inpatient psychiatric setting, you will be working closely with multiple disciplines as part of our team coming together for a holistic approach to care for our patients. This is your opportunity to serve as a Dentist who restores oral health to people with behavioral health needs.

 
Your role: 

• Perform dental evaluations, treatment, and preventive care.

• Provide general dental care, both emergency and routine treatment.

• Perform oral examinations; provide restorations, endodontics, extraction of teeth and roots (non-surgical), prosthetics, and periodontal treatment 

• Prescribe/recommend medications for treatment.

• Perform supervisory duties for the Dental Clinic.

• Refer patients to medical and dental specialists as necessary.

• Interpret federal regulations as they apply to statewide dental programs, ensuring compliance of dental programs with federal standards; maintaining records, and making reports evaluating the progress of patients.

What we are looking for

• A Professional with a doctorate degree from an accredited school of dentistry and at least two years of experience in the practice of dentistry.

• A valid Washington State license to practice dentistry
