Litigation Legal Secretary

Our client, a well‑established full‑service law firm with offices across Louisiana and Texas, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary for its New Orleans office. This is a full‑time, onsite position supporting attorneys in a fast‑paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with court filings, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, memoranda, and engagement letters. Assist attorneys with the preparation and organization of court filings, discovery, and litigation material. Handle e‑filing in state and federal courts and agencies. Maintain and organize electronic case files and legal documents within NetDoc. Open new client matters and assist with conflict checks. Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and client contact. Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, conference calls, and video conferences. Prepare presentation and meeting materials as needed. Provide additional administrative and litigation support as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of litigation legal secretary experience. Strong proofreading, organization, and multitasking skills. Experience with state and federal court filing procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience using document management systems such as NetDocs preferred. Comfortable with remote collaboration platforms including Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Business. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and proactively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
