Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

Location: Franklin, MA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for our Operating Room, specializing in General, GYN, Urology, Ortho, Podiatry, and Cataracts. The CST will play a vital role in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and medical personnel during operations.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgical interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations within the operating room.
• Participate in call coverage as required, including nights and weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Certification in Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
