Surgical First Assist - CSFA Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 3-4 years as a Surgical First Assistant License: Active Illinois license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Must be in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance requirements. Call rotation starting end of shift on Friday until Monday morning. Clinical experience in Acute Inpatient OR, CVOR, and Outpatient OR. Surgical case experience in cardiac, general, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Endoscopic procedure experience including bronchoscopy, EGD, and laparoscopic cases. Trauma experience, including amputations and gunshot/stab wounds. Equipment experience with case carts, drills, electrosurgical units, and fiber optic light sources. Professional knowledge of aseptic technique, isolation precautions, and laser safety. Ability to float within the facility as needed. Description:The role requires a Surgical First Assistant with experience in cardiovascular surgery.Candidates should have hands-on experience with various surgical procedures.The clinician will assist during operations and manage the surgical environment.Daily workload includes approximately 8 surgical cases.Call responsibilities involve being on call 1-2 times per week and every 3-4 weekends.Professional conduct and effective teamwork are essential in this role.The candidate must have knowledge of current surgical techniques and technologies.A commitment to patient care and safety is paramount in this position.Candidates should be able to adapt to the dynamic nature of the surgical environment.Flexibility and excellent communication skills are necessary for successful collaboration with the surgical team. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
