Senior Product Manager

Lead Analyst, Consumer InsightsWe are seeking a Lead Analyst, Consumer Insights to help shape product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and business growth within a leading electrical products organization. This role will serve as the voice of the customer, using market research, customer data, and analytics to understand the needs and behaviors of contractors, distributors, and end users. The ideal candidate is someone who can take complex research and data, identify meaningful trends, and turn those findings into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product development, marketing, channel strategy, and the overall customer experience.What You'll DoDesign and conduct quantitative and qualitative market research, including surveys, customer interviews, jobsite observations, field testing, and Voice of Customer (VOC) programsAnalyze contractor behavior, purchasing patterns, customer needs, and pain points across electrical product categoriesIdentify insights related to product usage, installation challenges, productivity, and customer preferencesDevelop customer segmentation models based on contractor type, application, sales channel, and jobsite needsPartner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to incorporate customer insights into new product developmentTranslate research findings into product requirements, feature priorities, and customer value propositionsIdentify market whitespace and opportunities for new products or expansion into adjacent categoriesAnalyze competitive products, channel strategies, and market/share shiftsTurn complex data and research findings into concise insights and strategic recommendations for business leadersEstablish and maintain best practices for customer insights, research methodologies, and data integrityWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Analytics, Product Management, Engineering, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field8+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, Voice of Customer, product marketing, commercial analytics, or a related fieldExperience supporting industrial, manufacturing, construction, contractor, or B2B marketsExperience conducting customer research and translating findings into actionable business recommendationsStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsAbility to communicate complex data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, or Commercial teamsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Marketing Research, Business Analytics, Market Intelligence, Product Management, Engineering, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field8+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, product strategy, or commercial analyticsExperience with electrical products, construction products, industrial manufacturing, contractor research, channel marketing, or B2B customer insightsExperience with market segmentation, competitive analysis, and Voice of Customer programsExperience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization/analytics toolsCertifications in market research, data analytics, product management, or VOC methodologiesPragmatic Institute certification or similar market research/product management certificationAdditional DetailsNo direct reportsUp to 50% domestic travelRelocation assistance availableOpportunity to have a direct impact on product strategy, customer experience, and business growth
