Speech Language Pathologist

School Speech Language Pathologist providing therapy to students in a school setting for a 36-week contract in Norristown, PA. The role offers up to $65 per hour and focuses on assessing and treating communication disorders to support student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students within the school setting

• Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and develop tailored treatment plans

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress

• Maintain progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines

• Support students' social and emotional development through effective communication strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or equivalent from an accredited institution

• Pennsylvania State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist, ASHA Certification preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of school-based speech-language pathology experience; strong understanding of pediatric communication disorders

• Must pass background check, have reliable transportation, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and adhere to all school district policies
