The goal of the program is to give summer associates the opportunity to experience life working as an associate at Godfrey & Kahn. You will develop tangible skills and gain valuable experience, and you will leave with a realistic view of what it is like to be a part of the team at Godfrey & Kahn. Most of our summer associates go on to become successful attorneys - many of them at Godfrey & Kahn. We are currently accepting applications from litigation-focused 2L students (JD 2028) for our 2027 Summer Associate Program with opportunities in our Green Bay or Appleton, Wisconsin offices. This position will allow the student to work in our Appleton and Green Bay offices, while also traveling to Milwaukee for team events and training opportunities throughout the summer. Students should have a demonstrated interest in litigation and a genuine commitment to building their practice in Northeastern Wisconsin following graduation. Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate This position offers a unique opportunity in the dynamic, cutting edge and ever-evolving area of data privacy and cybersecurity. The Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate’s role is to advise clients on cybersecurity and data privacy issues with a growing team of Shareholders and Associates, in all phases of the practice group’s work. Our team advises clients on a full spectrum of legal matters including proactive cybersecurity and privacy compliance planning, breach response, technology contracting, AI guidance, regulatory investigation and litigation management. Real Estate Associate (Milwaukee or Appleton Office preferred) We welcome a motivated and experienced Associate to become part of our team who is eager to build a sophisticated commercial real estate practice within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, development projects, and real estate financing.
