Job Description We Are Hiring! Position: Press Brake Operator - Structural Steel Location: Clackamas, OR Pay: $25.00 +/ hr DOE Schedule: Full-Time Who We Are: We are a growing structural steel fabrication team dedicated to producing high-quality fabricated components for a variety of industrial and commercial projects. We value safety, precision, teamwork, and craftsmanship in everything we do. What You'll Do: Set up and operate a Cincinnati Press Brake 350PF+10 to bend, form, and shape steel components Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications Select and install proper tooling, dies, punches, and machine settings Perform first-piece inspections and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, angle finders, gauges, and other precision tools Safely move and position materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment Maintain production records, setup information, and quality documentation Work closely with welders, fitters, supervisors, and quality personnel to ensure production goals are met Perform routine machine cleaning, inspections, and basic preventive maintenance Follow all shop safety procedures and PPE requirements What's In It for You: Competitive pay based on experience 401(k) with company matching Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Stable full-time opportunity Supportive team environment Opportunities to grow your fabrication and CNC forming skills Work with high-quality structural steel projects What You Need to Have: Experience operating a press brake or similar metal forming equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings Experience working with structural steel, sheet metal, or fabricated components Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, and quality standards Ability to perform basic shop math including fractions, decimals, and angles Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work The Musts: Ability to safely set up and operate press brake equipment Ability to use measuring tools including calipers, gauges, squares, and tape measures Ability to lift, move, and handle steel materials safely Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Preferred: Experience with Cincinnati Press Brake equipment CNC press brake programming experience Knowledge of bend allowances, bend deductions, tooling selection, and material springback Structural steel fabrication shop experience Forklift and/or overhead crane experience Quality control and fabrication inspection experience Next Steps: Please respond with an updated resume!
