- Perform health assessmentsand physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat childhoodillnesses.
- Provide vaccinations andpreventive care.
- Counsel parents on childdevelopment and health issues.
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of residency inpediatrics.
- Board certification inpediatrics.
- Strong communication skillswith children and families.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
