Overview

The Digital Marketing Strategist supports the development and execution of digital campaigns. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams across marketing and sales operations at Paychex. Primary focus entails developing a comprehensive audience targeting strategy, guiding asset and collateral development, creating multi-channel inbound strategies, reporting key insights, and monitoring campaign performance.


Responsibilities

• Develops inbound (digital, ABM) tactics along customer journey across multiple channels.
• Analyzes marketing campaign performance and execution while overseeing optimizations and data leveraging to drive decision-making.
• Directs agency efforts in campaign strategy, set-up, performance, and optimization.
• Develops comprehensive reporting and insights from inbound campaign performance.
• Works with cross-functional teams to guide effective messaging, assets, and collateral needed to support campaigns.
• Manages consumer insights generation through test and learn, optimizations, and stakeholder input.
• Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external partners.
• Continuously seek out opportunities to improve digital marketing processes and drive efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned by digital marketing Marketing leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or another relatable field - Preferred
• Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or another relatable field - Preferred
• 5 years of experience in Digital media strategy planning, optimization, and analysis (including email, social advertising, display advertising, website user experience, conversion optimization, lead routing, etc.) and digital platforms (Salesforce, Marketo, Google Display Network, Meta, LinkedIn, Google Analytics).
• 5 years of experience in B2B lead generation and inbound strategy experience.
• 1 year of experience in Account-based marketing experience.
• 1 year of experience in PEO or HCM industry experience.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $79,400 - $124,700 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
