About Us

The recently refreshed Hilton is in the historic Air Force command building right on Austin-Bergstrom International Airport property. We are proud to be Austin's gateway full-service hotel. The hotel is managed by Pittsburgh, PA based Prospera Hospitality, with over 20 years of property management experience in hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.

Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk assists with the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and established accounting practices. This role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and general administrative accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals

•Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile transactions

•Assist with accounts receivable billing, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances

•Review and audit daily revenue reports for accuracy

•Maintain organized financial records and documentation

•Support the month end closing process

•Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters

•Assist with departmental reporting and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

•High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred

•Previous hotel accounting or general accounting experience strongly preferred

•Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

•Excellent communication and customer service mindset

•This position will have a pay range of $22.00 to $24 per hour with scheduled annual increases.
