Plant Manager - Manufacturing

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager with 10+ years of manufacturing and plant leadership experience to oversee daily operations, improve productivity, reduce costs, and drive overall plant performance. Iowa candidates preferred; qualified candidates from neighboring Midwest states will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations, production, maintenance, and quality.
Manage and develop plant supervisors and production teams.
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and profitability.
Oversee production schedules, inventory, budgets, and operational efficiency.
Manage capital equipment investments and facility maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Promote a positive, results-driven workplace culture.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Industrial Management.
10+ years of manufacturing experience with strong plant leadership experience.
Minimum 4 years in a senior supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and cost controls.
Proven success improving productivity, reducing costs, and leading teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and manufacturing reporting systems.

Location Preference: Iowa candidates strongly preferred. Candidates from nearby Midwest states may also be considered.
