What You'll Do

As an Employment Specialist, you'll manage the full recruiting and placement process while delivering exceptional service to both associates and client companies.

Recruiting & Placement

• Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for temporary, evaluation-hire, and direct-hire opportunities.
• Match qualified candidates with client openings in Light Industrial, Office Services, Skilled Trades, and Professional positions.
• Conduct candidate screenings, reference checks, and onboarding activities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
• Follow up with associates throughout the employment process to ensure successful placements and retention.

Client Service

• Develop a thorough understanding of client companies, their culture, and hiring needs.
• Conduct client visits to better understand job requirements and work environments.
• Present qualified candidates quickly and accurately.
• Coordinate interviews and assist with successful onboarding.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and associates.

Marketing & Business Development Support

• Conduct Marketing Presented Candidate (MPC) calls and other outbound activities.
• Promote top candidates to prospective employers.
• Generate opportunities and appointments for our Business Development Specialist.
• Support office growth by proactively building relationships and engaging in outreach.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in Avionté and other systems.
• Utilize Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications daily.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Track recruiting, placement, and activity metrics.

What Success Looks Like

Successful Employment Specialists:

• Love talking with people and building relationships.
• Have a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Are comfortable spending significant time on the phone.
• Consistently achieve recruiting, placement, and retention goals.
• Maintain a combined goal of approximately 100 submissions and Marketing activities per week .
• Contribute to the office's growth and profitability.

Qualifications

Required

• At least one year of recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, human resources, or related experience .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and community events.

Preferred

• Staffing agency experience.
• Experience recruiting for Light Industrial and Office Services positions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
• Experience using an ATS or CRM system, preferably Avionté.

Schedule

• Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• This is a results-oriented position, and additional hours may be required to achieve recruiting and placement goals.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours are necessary for recruiting events, job fairs, networking activities, and community involvement.
