Process Control Engineer
Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join their team. As a Process Control Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting operational excellence and technological innovation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Execute projects to maintain and enhance automated control systems within manufacturing facilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and production staff to implement system expansions and upgrades.
Design, install, and commission control systems including PLC and DCS systems.
Upgrade legacy systems such as Allen Bradley PLC5 to CLX5000 and SLC500 to CLX5000, as well as Siemens PCS7 HMI and controller upgrades.
Travel up to 40% across various facilities within the US for installation checkout and system commissioning.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Control Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with automated control systems and system upgrades.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically within the US, primarily on the East to West Coast.
