Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Life Essence Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of individual needs and developing personalized treatment plans based on best practices.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address patients’ mental health concerns effectively.

• Managing a full caseload of clients and ensuring that their treatment goals are met efficiently and ethically, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

• Documenting all clinical interactions meticulously in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.

• Collaborating with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including mental health professionals and educators, to coordinate comprehensive care for students.

• Participating in case consultations and peer reviews to enhance treatment strategies and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

• Equipping clients and families with educational resources and coping strategies regarding mental health, treatment options, and available community services.

• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health care to continuously improve therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students and their families, addressing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of mental health literacy, requiring you to adapt your approaches and interventions accordingly to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas.

• At least three years of direct clinical experience in psychotherapy, preferably within educational settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
