Min 2 year Med Surg experience required Min 1 year of travel experience High acuity unit, mentor/charge experience required Straight Nights 7P-7:30A EOW and Holiday, On Call per Unit Needs BLS Unencumbered OH RN License On-call per unit needs. If called in, RN must be able to arrive within 1-hour. 36 hours not guaranteed. Southwest General may low-census for up to 12 hours per 2-week pay period. This nurse is responsible for patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, compassionate care. Med-Surg RNs manage patients' needs through their hospitalization, focusing on their recovery, education, and overall well-being.
