Digital Assets Compliance Advisor - Compliance - New York, New York, United States

SGUS seeks a Digital Assets Compliance Advisor to provide expert guidance on regulatory matters surrounding tokenization, stablecoins, and digital asset services. The role requires rapid familiarity with evolving frameworks such as the GENIUS Act, CLARITY Act, SEC and CFTC rule changes, and other federal or state reforms. Responsibilities Advise on digital asset regulatory frameworks, including the GENIUS Act (stablecoin legislation), CLARITY Act (market structure legislation), SEC and CFTC reforms, and other applicable laws. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments relating to digital assets and shape advocacy positions for SG. Support digital asset projects within SGUS, including SG Forge. Collaborate with stakeholders (legal and business teams) on topics such as AML, sanctions, and banking law. Assist in preparing briefing documents for management and regulators. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures. Analyze reputational risk issues related to digital asset clients. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university. Experience in a compliance department at a bank, broker‑dealer, or digital asset firm. Subject‑matter expertise in the digital assets industry. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to read, analyze, and focus on regulatory details. Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, deadline‑focused environment. Experience assessing legal risks associated with business environments (compliance and reputational risk). Benefits Base salary range (actual offer varies by experience and skills).
