About Don’t Matter
Don’t Matter is a new listening lounge in DUMBO, Brooklyn, built around music, cocktails, food, and thoughtful hospitality. The space includes an indoor lounge and outdoor deck, creating a warm, energetic, and elevated guest experience.
We are hiring professional, reliable, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our opening team.
Position Overview
Servers are responsible for providing attentive, polished service across the lounge and outdoor deck. This role requires strong floor awareness, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with the bar, kitchen, host, and management team.
Shifts Needed
- Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 2 AM
- Friday: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday: 3:30PM – 2:00 AM
- Sunday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive guest service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Guide guests through cocktails, wine, beer, food, and specials
- Maintain awareness of tables, timing, and guest needs
- Support indoor lounge and outdoor deck service
- Run food and drinks as needed
- Communicate clearly with bar, kitchen, host, and management
- Maintain clean tables, service stations, and guest areas
- Process payments accurately
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties
- Follow all service, safety, and alcohol service standards
Qualifications
- Prior serving experience preferred
- Restaurant, bar, lounge, hotel, or hospitality experience is a plus
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and late nights
- Cocktail, wine, beer, or music-focused hospitality knowledge is a plus
