We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR functions, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Duties:

-       Assist in employee orientation and onboarding processes

-       Support training and development initiatives for employees

-       Contribute to organization design and restructuring efforts

-       Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality

-       Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now

-       Assist in contract management and compliance

-       Assist payroll in payroll functions

-       Assist in Benefit Administration (Medical, FMLA, 401k, etc.)

-       Assist in Worker’s Compensation Administration

-       Assist in the Driver’s program

-       Employee retention program

-       Assist in confidential investigations and create investigation reports for senior leadership

-       General administrative office tasks as assigned by manager

-       HR projects/reporting as needed

Skills:

-       Proficiency in HR, legal, and California compliance practices

-       Strong understanding of organizational dynamics

-       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-       Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

-       Experienced Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel.

-       Comfortable speaking publicly and holding meetings with large groups.

-       2 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist/Assistant

Preferred:

-       Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field

-       2 years minimum in Human Resources experience

-       Extensive knowledge in California Labor Codes

Driving Requirement (Mandatory): This role requires driving as an essential function of the job. Candidates must have a valid, active driver’s license in good standing (not suspended or restricted) and must be insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance policy. Candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
