Mental Health Coordinator

Licensed Mental Health Supervisor LMFT / LCSW – Mental Health Supervisor Compensation : $133,848 - $148,720 / year Department : Mental Health Key Responsibilities Plan, supervise, and manage clinical services provided by mental health staff and allocate resources to meet institutional needs. Provide clinical and administrative supervision and direction to mental health staff, including staff disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations. Provide mental health services to inmates in the facility and consult with facility personnel as needed. Coordinate with facility administrative staff and maintain confidentiality of inmate information. Develop and implement corrective steps necessary to ensure the provision of quality mental health care and notify supervisory personnel of significant clinical or administrative concerns. Qualifications & Requirements Master’s degree in psychology, social work or behavioral science field. Minimum 2 years of experience in the coordination and administration of mental health service delivery systems. Professional experience indicating knowledge of management/supervision techniques, mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of major mental disorders and/or psychological evaluation techniques. Experience collaborating with county behavioral health, managed care plans, probation/parole, or community‑based organizations. Familiarity with CalAIM Behavioral Health and Justice‑Involved Reentry initiatives. Unrestricted, current license in the State of California – e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist. Must maintain all licensures, certifications, continuing educational requirements, etc. Must maintain CPR certification, and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required.
