Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Minimum 2 years‘ work experience with adults in outpatient and acute settings.
• Hawaii license required by start of assignment.
• BLS from American Red Cross required.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
• Coverage includes rehab and acute rehab.
• Experience with Net Health Therapy and Meditech is required.
• Must be able to work Hawaii state and federal holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.

Location Highlights

Pahala is a quiet community on Hawaii Island located about 20 miles from Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park and roughly 55 miles from Hilo. Punaluʻu Black Sand Beach is about 10 miles away and is known for sea turtle sightings and a distinctive volcanic shoreline. South Point, the southernmost point in the United States, is about 35 miles from Pahala and offers coastal views and cliffside scenery. The area provides access to Kaʻū coffee farms and scenic drives along Highway 11, with a rural setting suited to clinicians seeking a slower-paced assignment.
