Emergency Services Registered Nurse

Location: Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Job Description: The Emergency Services Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in an acute care environment. The nurse will demonstrate a teamwork approach, adhere to ProMedica behavioral expectations, and comply with the strenuously enforced call-off policy.

Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center within the Emergency Services department.
Utilize computerized charting via Epic and manage patient medications and IV therapies.
Implement isolation precautions and triage patients effectively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Float to Hickman as needed, adapting to meet facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

2 years of acute care experience in emergency services required.
MUST have valid Michigan RN license in hand.
Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
Experience with patient ratios of 1:4.
