Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to Production SupervisorThe work model for the role is: Onsite, Jonesboro, ArkansasThis position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.This is a Safety Sensitive positionYour role and responsibilities:Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrels.Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsQualifications for the role:Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Ability to learn, understand and follow company requirements for employee safety, product quality and productivity.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Note: Candidates must have a work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the U.S. (Include on postings for roles that will not offer sponsorship).Why ABB?ABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
