Production Assistant
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assistant to support daily production operations. This position will operate production equipment, assist with preparing materials, perform quality checks, package finished products, and help maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment. The position involves operating printers, laminators, and cutters.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment, including printers, laminators, and cutters.
- Follow all safety guidelines and equipment instructions.
- Assist with equipment setup, calibration, material loading, and production runs.
- Monitor production processes and address issues as they arise.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Make adjustments or corrections as needed.
- Prepare finished products for packaging and shipping, including labeling, boxing, and organizing.
- Assist with inventory control and report low inventory levels or equipment issues.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work with the production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Assist and support other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience operating printers, laminators, cutters, or similar production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design or printing production equipment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
- Basic understanding of graphic design and printing processes.
