About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead and oversee its fundraising activities, donor relations, and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy with the goal of significantly increasing annual funding. This role demands a proven track record in fundraising, a deep understanding of donor psychology, and the ability to inspire and lead a team. The CAO will be expected to manage a team of fundraising and marketing professionals, set and track performance indicators, and ensure that the fundraising and marketing strategies align with the organization's mission. A key aspect of the role is the willingness to travel extensively to engage with donors, staff, and field operations. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a mature Christian faith, be in agreement with the organization's values and mission, and demonstrate a strong passion for justice and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations. The role requires a high standard of personal discipline, excellent communication skills, and experience with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot. Proficiency in AI tools is a plus. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of significant advancement experience in a leadership role, with a proven ability to grow revenue and build effective fundraising teams.
