Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • High School completion preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license (required after submission). • Local&travel allowed. • No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Memorial Regional Health. Additional Details: Required Credentials:- Graduate of a COARC approved Respiratory Care Program. Preferred Skills/Experience:- Pulmonary diagnostics preferred.- Cardiac diagnostics (EKG, Holter monitor, Event Monitor, Cardiac Stress Testing) preferred. Unit Details:- Provides respiratory care with emphasis in Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care populations.- Mechanical ventilation monitoring and ventilator management, medication administration, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpretation of blood work results.- Airway management including bag/mask ventilation, suction techniques, artificial airways, and assisting with intubation.- Performs arterial blood gas draws.- Working knowledge of cardiopulmonary equipment and assigned cardiopulmonary modalities.
