Skilled Painter (Residential / Commercial)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential and/or commercial painting, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, priming)
• Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Ensure smooth, even application and high-quality finishes
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and coverings
• Mix and match paint colors as needed
• Inspect work for quality and correct any imperfections
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter (residential and/or commercial)
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Physically able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods

Pay Rate: Starting $20.00/HR

Pay Rate Ranges: $20.00/HR - 85.00/HR
