About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (QP2) Department, with a focus on leading a team to support the expansion of its immunology pipeline. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with deep knowledge in immunology, capable of driving model-informed decision-making to ensure a competitive edge. This role involves overseeing regulatory submissions, pediatric and life-cycle management strategies, and developing translational strategies for the optimal use of biomarkers. The Executive Director will also be responsible for leading a team of QP2 scientists, providing scientific and operational oversight, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Candidates for this Executive Director position must have a Ph.D., PharmD, or equivalent degree, with at least 12 years of experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical drug development or regulatory. A strong background in biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacometrics, or related fields is required, along with a proven track record in regulatory strategies for immunology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing quantitative strategies for drug pipeline decisions, including complex modalities, and a strong understanding of the global regulatory landscape. Leadership skills, the ability to manage interdisciplinary teams, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performance work environment are essential. Proficiency in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving is also necessary, with a preference for candidates with expert skills in mechanistic modeling and a recognized leadership role in quantitative pharmacology.
