Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM)

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
Patient Ratio Experience: Experience with specific patient ratios is preferred
Charting System Experience: Preferred experience with Epic
Previous Charge Experience: Required
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS

Preferred Skills

Ambulatory OR experience
Experience with various surgical procedures including:
- Appendectomy
- Cardiac Monitoring
- Cholecystectomy
- Colon resection
- Colonoscopy
- EGD
- Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
- Myringotomy with tubes
- Pediatric General OR
- Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy
- Total joint replacement
- VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery)
Experience in PACU/Recovery Unit

Facility & Patient Care Details

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Daily Census: Not specified
Number of Rooms: 3
Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
Patient Diagnoses: Experience in a rural hospital required, including both circulating and recovery roles
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Endoscopy experience required

Additional Requirements

Must be available for call two days a week, including holidays and weekends
Must work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
References: Two references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years required
